A Horror Story That Belongs to Western New York

Golden Eagle Studios LLC created The Legend of Pigman as more than just a film or folklore project—it’s a living story built with the voices, history, and people of Angola, New York.

Inspired by the real-life Angola Horror train crash of 1867 and the lost whispers of local legend, the Pigman universe is grounded in a real place with a real past. Our team is made up of artists, filmmakers, and entrepreneurs who live here. We walk the same forest trails. We’ve heard the stories passed down over coffee in old diners and late nights around bonfires.

This story is ours—because we’re still writing it.

Built by Locals, For Everyone

The Legend of Pigman is produced by Golden Eagle Studios LLC, a creative studio based in Western New York. But the project extends beyond our walls:

  • Writers and actors from Angola

  • Visual artists and photographers from Erie County

  • Merch designers from across the region

  • Historians and neighbors who contribute story threads, theories, and strange encounters

We believe in regional storytelling with global ambition—and that horror is most powerful when it feels like it could happen right down the road.
